Christmas in Chamonix

So we packed our bags and headed to Chamonix in the French Alps for Christmas. They had had a fair bit of snow before we arrived, so we were all set for a great week!

This is an awful photo, but one of the few group pix we have, LJ and Mary, Simon and Sarah and us.

Day one of snowboarding.
My first time up the Bunny Slope poma, I didn't want to let go of the guys hand!
Mt. Blanc in the background.

Chrsitmas Day, Simon carving the Turkey...oops, I mean Duck!
Christmas Dinner, what a feast!
Sean in the cable car up to Le Brevent.
Us.

Me posing at the top of a Black run, I can't believe the others went down there!

The boys at the back of Le Tour, knee deep in snow.

A few scenic shots around Chamonix.

The view of Chamonix Town from the top of the cable car, Le Brevent!

Time travels fast!

Not that we really need any extra excuses for a drink, but we realised that this day was 6months from when we left home, so we though we might have a celebratory drink!

We have seen a whole bunch of places and done a lot of things since we left home, but still have so much we want to do, so are not planning on heading home any time soon. In 2008 we are already booked in for a trip to Canada and the USA, and back to Florence. In the pipework is a trip to Amsterdam, but we also want to check out Austria, Switzerland, Poland, more of germany, the Czech Republic, Ireland...the list goes on! As you can see, we still have plenty to see and do.

Cruise on the Thames

We have done a few cruises on the Thames, this one included free food and drinks for four hours, thanks to Shannon's work!

Monaco GP 2007

Thanks to Paul and Olivia, we now have photos from when we worked at the Monaco Grand Prix last year. What a fantastic weekend!

Sean and Paul, on the 11th Floor of the McLaren apartments, over looking Monaco Harbour, prior to the guests arriving. 7,000euro per person per day to watch the race from here!

Many people didnt have quite the view we did.

An impressive panorama by Olivia. The view from the staff balcony!

Coming out of the tunnel and onto the main straight.
