London to Lagos...

Ok Ok, we still have not managed to find a computer that will give us access to upload any pix, but thought we had better give you all an update anyway. It has been a while since London, and we have been to a fair few places since then!

So we flew from London to Brussels - Belguim, then jumped on a train to Ghent. It is a university town, a few hours out of Brussels. We stayed a couple of nights. We then went to Brugges, which was lovely. We did plenty of walking all around these towns. Saw plenty of castles and churches. Spent on day and night back in Brussels on our way to Paris.

Paris was amazing! We really loved it there. Spent 6 nights. Climbed to the second floor of the Eiffel tower, did a free walking tour, which was really good. Spent a lot of time picnicing with cheap (but good) wine and baguettes at both the Eiffel Tower and Sacre Cour, which was very near to where we were staying. Also went to the Louvre, Notre Dame and Saint Chapelle, which were cool.

From Paris we went down to San Sebastian - Spain. Up until then we had had fantastic weather. San Sebastian, a beach town in which we had planned to recover from all the churches and museums, on the beach, was 16 and raining!

Next to Madrid, which the weather was much better again. A couple of days there and then a day in Toledo, which was a very cool little town. Had no place to stay upon arrival there, but managed to find a pension owned by a little old lady that cost us only 10 euro each for the night.

We left Toledo in the dark, heading back to Madrid and then to get a train to Sevilla. We had planned to stay there for the night before heading to Lagos - Portugal fora few nights. No trains/buses to Lagos on weekends out of season however. So we got on the next bus to Lagos. A huge day of travelling, and yet again no accommodation booked. But the place we are staying is awesome. A three bedroom apartment, kitchen bathroom, washing machine!! and a roof top patio with ocean views. And we have it all to ourselves for only 15 euro each a night. Amazing. We were only meant to stay 2 nights, but it has been 5 now. The beaches are great, as are the people. We will leave on Wednesday, heading back to Sevilla for a night, then to Granada and Barcelona.

Enough from us. Will try and post some pix asap. We have plenty to choose from!
